In this surreal comedy, Uncle Meat, a charismatic musician, embarks on a quest to create a hit single using unconventional methods. Meanwhile, he falls in love with Phyllis, a film editor, after she witnesses his transformation into a monster. The two meet again, this time under aliases, and share a steamy shower scene. As Uncle Meat's obsession with composing a hit single grows, it threatens to destroy his relationship with Phyllis, who feels neglected after twelve years of marriage.
