Logger Bill Cardigan is determined to save California's redwood trees from the Fallon lumber company. With a pressing deadline to meet, he must deliver a large quantity of logs to the mill, but Fallon is determined to stop him. The two engage in a tense standoff as Cardigan sets out to blow up the dam that Fallon has built to block his path.
