A group of scientists at a radio telescope laboratory receive a baffling signal from outer space and, in response, are abducted by extraterrestrial beings. The captives find themselves on a spaceship populated solely by robots, where they are subjected to a series of cognitive challenges. As they struggle to comprehend their predicament, they endeavor to uncover the purpose behind their abduction and devise a plan to return to Earth.
