In the film, the Black Magic cult of Ubasti seeks to resurrect their goddess Ossana by sacrificing Nadji, a princess of Egypt believed to be Ossana's reincarnation. Nadji takes refuge with Frank Chandler, an American with White Magical powers, who calls himself Chandu.
