In the next movie, a CIA deputy director named Cooper attempts to discredit the agency's director in order to take his position. The director, aware of Cooper's plan, turns the tables by feeding him false information. He tells his man Brown to pick a random person at the airport who can supposedly clear him of the charges, and Brown chooses Richard, who stands out due to his mismatched shoes. Cooper sets up surveillance on Richard and sends his associate Maddy to seduce him and gather information. Meanwhile, Richard surprisingly falls for Maddy.
