Tarzan, raised by apes in Africa, returns to England after his parents' death, marrying Jane Porter. When King Leopold asks him to investigate his actions in Africa, Tarzan initially refuses but agrees after American George Washington Williams accompanies him. His wife insists on joining, but they're attacked by Rom, who works for Leopold, and Tarzan must escape and rescue Jane, joined by Washington.
