The Decameron

Nine stories from Bocaccio's "Decameron" come to life in this adaptation, featuring tales of swindling, deception, and revenge. A young man's fortunes change in Naples, a man pretends to be deaf-mute in a convent, a woman hides her lover, and a scoundrel fools a priest on his deathbed. Meanwhile, three brothers exact revenge, a young girl sneaks out to meet her boyfriend, and a group of painters wait for inspiration. A crafty priest tries to seduce his friend's wife, and two friends make a pact to uncover the secrets of the afterlife.
