The Angels' Share

A young father, haunted by his past, sets out to redeem himself and turn his life around, only to hatch a plan with friends to flee their dire situation and start fresh at a whisky distillery.

This bittersweet comedy follows Robbie as he sneaks into the maternity hospital to meet his newborn son Luke and girlfriend Leonie. Overwhelmed, he vows to give Luke a better life than his own. After narrowly avoiding prison, Robbie finds work with his community service order and meets friends who share his struggles. They turn to fine malt whiskies, which changes their lives. Will they find a new future or continue in a cycle of hardship?
