Claire and Teddy, owners of the Superhost Vlog, review lodgings for their subscribers. With their subscriber count dropping, Claire is desperate to avoid relying on her parents for financial support. They rent an isolated woods house from Lou and Betty, where Teddy plans to propose to Claire. However, things take a strange turn when the security code doesn't work, and they're left without cell signal. The host, Rebecca, arrives, explaining the code change and her father's legacy. Despite her friendly demeanor, Claire and Teddy soon feel uneasy due to Rebecca's unusual behavior and the omnipresent surveillance cameras. When a window breaks, they find Vera, a previous host, accusing them of damaging her business. As they try to leave, they discover more bizarre occurrences and Rebecca's sinister intentions.
