Running on Karma

In this action-packed film, a former monk turned exotic dancer, Dai Jet Lo, possesses a unique ability to perceive the connections between cause and consequence. When he teams up with a determined female cop, they join forces to take down a ruthless murderer. As they work together, the cop discovers Dai's troubled past, including the brutal slaying of a friend that led him to abandon his monastic life. Meanwhile, she's forced to confront her own impending doom, a cruel fate that will soon claim her life in a violent and untimely manner. Together, they decide to defy the natural order and alter the course of events, despite the insurmountable odds against them.
