Martin Clément, a man born Marvin Bijou, has fled a small village in the countryside, leaving behind his family, his father's tyranny, and his mother's resignation. He has escaped intolerance, rejection, and bullying, which he suffered due to being perceived as "different." Despite the odds, he found allies in Madeleine Clément, a middle school principal who introduced him to theater, Abel Pinto, his mentor and role model, and Isabelle Huppert, who helped him produce his show.
