Travis Henderson, a father, reappears after a four-year absence in a remote area of south Texas. His brother Walt brings him back, and he's reunited with his son Hunter. Despite his return, Travis struggles to explain his disappearance and his sudden reappearance. Walt has been raising Hunter, and it takes time for the two to reconnect. They embark on a journey to find Travis' wife, Jane, who is working in a peep show in Houston. However, their family reunion is not as joyful as expected.
