In a 1974-established Government-run Primary School on the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Thomas teaches students with disabilities who commute by boat from nearby islands. His life is turned upside down when the 2004 Tsunami devastates the islands, claiming the lives of his family and several students. Haunted by their loss, Thomas continues to visit the empty school, holding onto hope of finding any survivors among his former students.
