Map of the Human Heart background

Map of the Human Heart

In 1931, a young Eskimo boy with tuberculosis is transported to a Montreal hospital, where he recounts his life story 34 years later. His journey takes him from the hospital to the UK, where he reunites with a former love, Albertine, and serves in World War II.

In this romantic fantasy, an Inuit man embarks on a journey across time, distance, and war-torn landscapes to reunite with his childhood sweetheart, a Metis girl. Despite the odds, their love remains strong, but cultural differences pose the greatest challenge to their reunion.
