Lilly Thorpe is stuck in a rut, working as a copywriter in Boston while her true passion is writing a novel. She's also the president of the Jane Society, a group of Jane Austen fans. With the owner of their meeting spot retiring, Lilly must find a new affordable location. She's also at a crossroads in her love life, turning down a proposal from her boyfriend and considering a romantic interest in a coworker. When the spirit of Jane Austen enters her life, Lilly is surprised and must navigate her own problems while also dealing with the challenges of adapting Jane's timeless advice to the 21st century.
