A teenager, Jax, is forced to start over at a new school in his senior year after a tragic loss. He clashes with the school bully, Ivan, and is given community service as a punishment. While serving, Jax meets Charlie, a young man with Down Syndrome, and befriends Bailey, a teen girl he protected from Ivan, as well as Juliette, another teen with Down Syndrome. Through their bond, they learn valuable lessons about life, love, and forgiveness. But their newfound happiness is put to the test when Ivan, Bailey's violent ex-boyfriend, appears, threatening to disrupt their harmony.
