Max, a former gangster and close friend of Riton, has been hiding eight gold bars worth 50 million francs for their retirement. However, their plan is threatened when Riton's mistress Josy leaves him for a new lover, Angelo, a dangerous gangster. When Angelo discovers the stolen gold, he kidnaps Riton to force Max to hand it over.
