Professor James Anders, a retired academic, devises a scheme to rob a Brazilian diamond company with a team of experts, led by criminal Mark Milford. However, upon arrival in Rio de Janeiro, the group encounters an unexpected hurdle: a state-of-the-art alarm system known as Grand Slam 70.
