Nobita and Doraemon travel back in time to catch a 500-year-extinct bird, Moa, using the Time Tree Mochi. To safeguard the species, they head to Beremon Island, where they're protected by the golden beetle Herakles. Upon arrival, they meet a Rokkoro tribe girl and a boy who bears an uncanny resemblance to Nobita.
