A remake of the 1973 classic, the story follows honest police officer ACP Vijay, who has been transferred multiple times for his relentless pursuit of corrupt underworld goons. When a beautiful woman named Mala witnesses a murder by Teja's gang, she refuses to cooperate, putting her in grave danger. ACP Vijay takes Mala under his protection and soon falls in love with her.
