Two Family House background

Two Family House

A man's creative ambitions are suffocated by the monotony of his daily life, prompting him to face the individuals who are stifling his growth.

On Staten Island in 1956, Buddy, a man with big dreams, purchases a house with plans to run a bar downstairs and live upstairs with his wife Estelle. However, his aspirations are threatened by a series of challenges, including his wife's lack of confidence, unpaid rent from Irish tenants, and the arrival of a biracial baby that sparks racial tension and prejudice.
