He perfected his projection machine and planned to demonstrate it to the public, but mysteriously disappeared on a train to Paris in 1890, leaving no body and no proof to claim his invention. Despite his pioneering work, Le Prince's name was forgotten until a lone voice worked to revive his legacy, and now a documentary aims to prove his role in creating the world's first moving image film.
