In a near-future space station, a man named Leon falls through a time portal and finds himself in the bedroom of Marie Antoinette. He witnesses the queen's affair with her maid, Mimi, and is soon caught by the king, leading to his imprisonment in the Bastille. Meanwhile, his friend Daria attempts to rescue him but ends up in Arabia, where she meets Shahrazad and Aladdin. Eventually, they all return to the future, only to find that Fascists have taken over. To save freedom, Mimi must return to King Louis's court to fulfill her destiny.
