Two women, Arezou and Nargess, are released from prison and flee to Nargess' hometown, but face challenges including lack of identification and police searches. Meanwhile, Pari escapes to have an abortion, but is unable to get help from her friend Elham, a hospital worker, and is eventually taken into custody after trying to stop a woman from abandoning her daughter. The stories of these women, and others, come together to form a powerful narrative of shared despair and hope.
