Some Came Running

A veteran writer returns to his hometown in Indiana, haunted by his past and struggling with addiction. He's followed by a woman who has fallen in love with him, but his affections are elsewhere. He reconnects with his family, including a school teacher who shares his passion for literature. However, his unrequited love for her and the arrival of his former lover's Chicago mobster entourage lead to a tragic event in the small town.
