Running Time was filmed in black and white, in real time, and seemingly takes place in one continuous shot. The movie follows Carl, an ex-con who plans to rob the prison laundry system where he worked for 5 years. He meets his high school buddy, who helps him pull off the heist with a safecracker and getaway driver. However, everything falls apart, and Carl's ultimate goal is put in jeopardy.
