Robin Hood

Robin Longstride, an archer, returns to England with his companions after King Richard's death in France. They encounter the dying Sir Robert Loxley, whose party was ambushed by Godfrey, who hopes to facilitate a French invasion. Robin promises to return Sir Robert's sword to his father, Sir Walter Loxley, and finds himself impersonating the dead man to prevent land confiscation. He meets Marion, a ready-made wife, and navigates politics amidst barons, royals, traitors, and the French.
