The story follows Mac Ramsey and Li Ann Tsei, lovers and professional thieves, as they navigate a complex web of crime and loyalty. After being separated, Mac is recruited by a crime-fighting unit and reunited with Li Ann, who thought he was dead, and her new fiancé Victor Mansfield, an ex-cop. As they take on their assignment, conflict arises between Mac and Victor, and they soon discover their target is their foster brother Michael Tang, who has vowed to hunt them down for their disloyalty.
