Old Heart tells the story of a Black GI who joins the Dutch resistance to smuggle food and supplies across Nazi lines, and his brief love affair with a 24-year-old woman. Sixty years later, he disappears and his children try to locate him, while he tries to find his former lover. The film explores mixed-race relationships, cultural boundaries, and elder independence preserving, also examining the US' segregated Army during WWII.
