College student Karunakaran struggles to adjust to society and often loses his temper, causing worry for his family. He leaves his hometown and moves to Chennai, where his trouble continues. Meanwhile, a group of police officers witness a car accident and discover a large stash of cash. They kill the victim and flee to Chennai with the money. As the investigation unfolds, Karunakaran becomes entangled in the crime plot due to a series of lies and misunderstandings.
