In the ancient past, a king was gifted a powerful stone, the Green Emerald, by a goddess as a reward for his bravery and strength. The stone, known as "Maragadha Naanayam", was said to bring invincibility to its owner, allowing the king to conquer many lands. After his death, the stone was placed in his tomb, where it remained untouched for nearly a century due to the fear of the king's malevolent spirit, Irumbarazan. However, in 1990, someone attempted to steal the stone, but was met with a gruesome fate. The stone was said to be cursed, and anyone who touched it would be killed by Irumbarazan's evil spirit. As a result, 132 people lost their lives.
