In a nation where cricket is a national obsession, a farmer named Anwar Khan is an exception to the rule. He believes the game is a waste of time and money, but his family, particularly his wife Saida, is passionate about it. Their son Iqbal, who is deaf and mute, shares his mother's enthusiasm and begins training with a renowned coach, Guruji. Despite facing setbacks and rivalries, Iqbal's talent earns him a spot on the Andhra Pradesh team, leading to a chance to play for the Indian team. However, his father's disapproval and Guruji's favoritism towards his star pupil create a crisis that tests Iqbal's determination to pursue his dream.
