Gandhi, My Father

The movie follows the story of Mohandas, a Gujarati family man who becomes a Barrister and later a prominent figure in the Indian independence movement. His son Harilal struggles to live up to his father's expectations, facing personal and professional failures, and eventually becomes disillusioned with his family and society. As Harilal's life spirals out of control, he changes his name, faith, and identity multiple times, causing tension within his family. When Mohandas announces the "Do or Die" campaign, Harilal meets his parents in a dramatic and emotional reunion, as they grapple with accepting their son as he is.
