A retired poet, 76-year-old Sam, is forced into an assisted living facility after being rejected by his family due to his forgetfulness. He befriends Carl, another resident, and together they find solace in creating a rap song and music video. However, their newfound bond is put to the test when the pandemic hits the facility, leaving Sam once again feeling isolated.
