Disarm filmmakers present a contemporary and provocative view of the forces challenging the achievement of a mine-free world. The documentary explores how millions of antipersonnel mines continue to claim victims daily in over 80 countries, despite a global ban. It juxtaposes government and public opinion, as well as perspectives from diplomats, mine victims, deminers, soldiers, and aid workers to examine the issues hindering and furthering the case against antipersonnel mines. The film features visually stunning footage from Burma, Colombia, and Iraq, as well as helmet camera footage from Afghan and Bosnian deminers, and comments from Nobel Peace Laureate Jody Williams.
