A clumsy student named Rex becomes lost on a class trip to a cave with ancient paintings. He stumbles upon a mysterious crystal that sends him back in time to the Stone Age, where he befriends a group of prehistoric people, including a beautiful woman named Eba. As Rex tries to find a way back home, he focuses on winning Eba's affections, but his efforts are complicated by the curiosity of the clan's chief.
