Danny Rose, a struggling talent agent, goes above and beyond to support his clients. When singer Lou Canova seeks his help with a personal issue, Danny agrees to assist. Lou's problem is his mistress, Tina, whom he wants to attend his concerts, but he's married and Danny must pose as her boyfriend. However, things take a dangerous turn when two mobsters, seeking revenge for a past transgression, target Danny, mistakenly believing he's responsible for stealing the heart of Tina, the object of their brother's affection.
