A mysterious traveler, Allan Gray, checks into a quaint inn in the village of Courtempierre, drawn to the supernatural and vampires. As he settles in, he's suddenly beset by an ominous presence. In the dead of night, an elderly man appears in his room, warning Gray that "she must not die". It transpires that one of the old man's daughters, Leone, has been bitten by a vampire, and Gray and her sister Gisele must track down the original vampire to break the curse by driving a stake through its heart.
