Four college slackers, Bob, Irwin, Gonzer, and Max, are reluctantly recruited to represent their university in an intercollegiate raft race. Along the way, they encounter a cast of characters, including a lovely woman, Heather Merriweather, as well as rival teams of marines and preppy Ivy-Leaguers, all vying for victory.
