Desperate Scottish fishermen take a treacherous gamble by smuggling immigrants across the waters, as their own fishing industry faces collapse.
A Scottish trawler captain, who has worked for over three decades to own his vessel, is on the brink of losing his ship to the bank due to bankruptcy. His son, Sean, and first mate, accept a large sum to smuggle Chinese illegal immigrants to Scotland to save the trawler.
