A renowned British linguist, Bolt, creates a universal language and is awarded the Nobel Prize. His Italian artist wife, who has been neglected for years, sculpts a massive 18-foot statue of him, but gives it an unexpected feature. When Bolt discovers the statue, he assumes it's not a likeness of him and sets out to find the man who modeled for it, while his wife's true intentions remain a mystery.
