Raja, a kind-hearted and honest young man, falls in love with Priya, the daughter of Police Commissioner Dileep. However, Priya is already engaged to marry the son of a minister. Raja is tricked by Dileep into kidnapping a high-ranking official, but he soon kidnaps Priya instead. Priya reveals she never loved Raja and only pretended to be in love to pursue her studies abroad. Despite this, Priya starts to develop feelings for Raja. Raja then demands a ransom from Dileep, but is eventually caught and arrested.
