In 1965, Bobby Kennedy became the first human to stand atop a peak in the Canadian Yukon named after his brother JFK. He was guided by Jim Whittaker, the first American to summit Mt. Everest. The two formed a friendship over their shared love of wilderness, with their lives intertwining in profound ways. However, their shared path ended with an assassin's bullet.
