In 1931 Western Australia, the government forcibly removes half-white, half-Aboriginal children from their mothers and sends them to indentured servitude. Three cousins, Molly, Daisy, and Grace, aged 14, 10, and 8, escape from their captors and embark on a perilous journey north, evading a tracker and the constabulary.
