In this action-packed film, a king's attempt to prevent an assassination goes awry, leading to his fiancée's poisoning and his own accusation. Desperate to save her, he sends his loyal monkey to deliver the antidote, but the emperor, bound by his word, marries the princess to the monkey instead. The unlikely couple is exiled to a deserted island, where they eventually have a son.
