A struggling cameraman/director receives a life-changing assignment to document a famous musician, John of God, in Congo/Kinshasa. However, John is a demanding narcissist who refuses to open up, hiding a dark secret. The cameraman hires a local "producer" who turns out to be a fake, forcing him to think outside the box to get the job done. The result is a hilarious comedy of errors and a non-stop entertaining film from start to finish.
