A cunning outlaw, Clark, steals horses and is unable to move them. He concocts a plan to deceive Tex into doing the job for him, by tricking him into playing roulette and winning a rigged game. Once Tex is in possession of the horses, Clark's henchmen are sent to repossess the stolen animals and eliminate Tex.
