Hear the Silence

In a small Ukrainian village in 1941, a group of German soldiers occupies a settlement of Russian-Germans, who initially welcome them as "liberators" hoping to avoid deportation by the Russians. Despite the soldiers' initial friendly demeanor, a tragic event unfolds when a young woman is killed by a German officer, sparking a cycle of violence and retaliation. As the situation spirals out of control, both sides engage in brutal torture and execution, transforming ordinary people into brutal killers.
