A lonely and sexually frustrated insurance employee, Willard, fantasizes about the new secretary, Susie. He's sent to investigate a claim by an aging tattoo artist, Painless Martha, who's expecting her death. After her death, Willard inherits her pet duck, which leads him to a wild night and eventually, to a trucker who gives them a ride. Returning home, Willard discovers the duck is female and they have sex. The next morning, he's confident enough to pursue his boss and eventually quits his job to be with the duck.
