In the year 2156, the deep space fishing vessel Essex, owned by AmberCorp, is on its final harvest of the season. However, their journey takes a dramatic turn when they encounter a massive and territorial creature. The crew's past tragedy may be connected to this beast, and their situation worsens when a group of scavengers intercept their transmission and infiltrate the ship.
